SCL Seminar by Milos Radonjic

Scientific Computing Laboratory seminar will be held on  Friday, 30 September 2016 at 14:00 in the library reading room “Dr. Dragan Popović" of the Institute of Physics Belgrade. The talk entitled

"Non-equilibrium steady state transport through correlated systems"

will be given by Dr. Miloš Radonjić (Scientific Computing Laboratory, Institute of Physics Belgrade).

Abstract of the talk:

We develop a new method for realistic calculation of non-equilibrium properties of multiorbital, strongly correlated systems. Within the framework of Keldysh Green's functions, we perturbatively solve the Anderson impurity model. The self-energy is expanded up to the second order in Hubbard interaction. The non-equilibrium Anderson impurity solver is incorporated into the non-equilibrium DFT package SMEAGOL, which allows for calculations of realistic materials. We briefly compare our results to equilibrium results for heterostructure CuCoCu.
