On Friday, 4 May 2018, Serbian National TV (RTS) has broadcast the first part of the TV documentary about IPB. The documentary was realized as a part of the series entitled “Kuća nauke” (“House of science”). The 25-minute show presents the main research lines at IPB in a manner accessible to a wider audience, with the aim of promoting science. One part of the programme is devoted to an overview of the activities pursued by our Center for the Study of Complex Systems and its Scientific Computing Laboratory. The head of the Center, Dr. Antun Balaž, talked about the importance of numerical simulations in modern research, and emphasized the role of excellence in science for its further development.
