Zlatko Papic, SCL graduate student, gave two seminars presenting his research on the quantum Hall effect. The first lecture introduced the numerical techniques for exact diagonalization, while the other one focused on the use of conformal field theory as a tool for studying the physics of quantum Hall effect.
