Serbian Ministry of Education has just officially approved new physics textbook for seventh grade of elementary school, written by Dusko Latas (Faculty of Physics, University of Belgrade) and SCL's Antun Balaz. The textbook closely follows new physics curriculum, introduced as of this year in the seventh grade as a part of the overall school reform in Serbia. Fizika 7 contains also a large number of numerical examples and problems with detailed solutions, homework problems, and a description of eight experimental exercises which can be performed by students in school laboratories. The publisher of the textbook Novi logos promised to make available some sections of Fizika 7 on their web site soon.
