SCL's new bilateral project "Simulation and analisys of complex networks in planetary dynamics" with the Jozef Stefan Institute in Slovenia will merge the expertise of the two groups regarding diffusion on complex networks (Jozef Stefan) and planetary systems formation (SCL). Even though these two fields seem different at first glance, both are in fact driven by the novel concept of scale-free networks built through preferential attachment of nodes and leading to generic power law behaviour.
